Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Install poppet (9), spring (10), retainer (11), and retaining ring (12) in spool assembly (6) .

Install spool assembly (6), spacers (7), and spring (8) in the valve.
Install two O-ring seals (5) on both ends of the valve.

Install cover (4) and two bolts (2). Install cover (3) and two bolts (1) .End By: Install the torque converter outlet relief valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Relief Valve (Torque Converter Outlet) - Install".
