Assembly Procedure
Note: Inspect the O-ring seal. Replace any O-ring seals that are worn or damaged.Note: During the installation of the O-ring seals, lubricate the O-ring seals with the fluid that is being sealed.

Install seal (28).
Install plug (27).

Install stud (24).
Install O-ring seal (26) and O-ring seal (25) on cover assembly (13).

Install retainer (23).
Install element assembly (18).
Install retainer (19).
Install element assembly (20).
Install retainer (21).
Install nut (22). Note: During the installation of nut (22), tighten the nut to a torque of 15 5.4 N m (11.06 3.98 lb ft).

Install cover assembly (13).
Install five bolts (12).
Install O-ring seal (17) and plug (16).
Install plate (15) and screw (14).

Install spool (10).
Install spring (9).
Install O-ring (11).

Install bypass switch (1) of the transmission charging hydraulic filter.
Install O-ring seal (7) and plug (6).
Install fluid sampling valve (2), adapter (3), O-ring (4), and three seals (5).
Install dust cap (8) on fluid sampling valve (2). End By:
Install the transmission oil filter and base. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oil Filter and Base (Transmission Charging)- Install".
