2. Remove bolt (1) that holds the clip in place. Bolt (1) must be removed to make clearance to remove one of the bolts that hold oil outlet line (2) to the pump.3. Disconnect outlet oil line (2) from the pump.4. Disconnect inlet oil line (3) from the pump. 5. Remove two nuts (4) and bolts that hold the pump to the timing gear plate. Remove pump (5). Remove the gasket. The following steps are for installation of the hydraulic pump.6. Put the gasket in place and install the pump on the timing gear cover.7. Connect outlet oil line (2) to the pump. Install bolt (1) that holds the clip in place.8. Connect inlet oil line (3) to the pump.9. Install the engine side panel on the left side of the machine.10. Start By: a. remove hydraulic pump Be sure the outside of the pump is clean before disassembly. Put a mark on the outside of the pump sections for correct assembly. 1. Bend lock (2) down. Remove nut (1) and lock (2).
Do not remove gear (3) with tooling (A) unless nut (1) is installed.
2. Install nut (1) until it is even with the end of the shaft. Use tooling (A) and loosen gear (3) from the taper on the shaft. Remove tooling (A), nut (1) and gear (3). 3. Remove bolts (4) that hold the pump together. Remove end cover (5). 4. Remove seals (6), (7) and (8) from end cover (5). 5. Remove bushings (9) and (10) from the pump body. 6. Remove gears (11) and (12) from the pump body. 7. Remove pump body (13) from flange (14). 8. Turn the pump body over. Remove bushings (15) and (16) from pump body (13). 9. Remove seals (17), (18) and (19) from flange (14). 10. Turn flange (14) over. Use tool (B) and remove snap ring (20). 11. Remove lip type seal (21) from flange (14). The following steps are for assembly of the hydraulic pump.12. Make sure all of the parts of the hydraulic pump are clean. Put clean oil on all of the parts. Inspect all seals for damage and make a replacement if necessary. 13. Use tool (C) and install the lip type seal (21) in flange (14) with the lip of the seal toward the inside of the pump. 14. Use tool (B) and install snap ring (20) that holds the lip type seal in place. 15. Install seals (17), (18) and (19) on flange (14) as shown. If necessary, lower the temperature of bushings (15) and (16) for easier installation.16. Install bushings (15) and (16) in their original positions in pump body (13). 17. Turn the pump body over and put pump body (13) in its original position on flange (14). 18. Install gears (11) and (12) in the pump body.
