Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the main control valve and the mounting. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Control Valve and Mounting Plate - Remove".

Remove four bolts which hold manifold (1) in place. Remove manifold (1) from main control valve (2) .
Remove eight bolts which hold manifold (3) in place. Remove manifold (3) from main control valve (2) .
Disconnect hydraulic tube assembly (4) .

Attach a suitable hoist and a suitable lifting sling to main control valve (2). The weight of the main control valve is 68 kg (150 lb).
Remove three bolts (5) which hold the main control valve (2) to mounting plate (6). Remove main control valve (2) .

Put identification marks on the rod end of the tilt cylinder relief valve (7) and on the head end of the tilt cylinder relief valve (8). Remove the two relief valves from the main control valve.

Disassemble relief valves (7) and (8) :
Remove O-ring seals (12) from the valve body.
Loosen locknut (9) and remove retainer assembly (13). Remove O-ring seal (14) from retainer assembly (13) .
Remove shim (10), spring (11), plate (15) and valve (16) from the valve body.

Remove main relief valve (17) from the main control valve.

Disassemble main relief valve (17) :
Remove O-ring seals (18) from the valve body.
Remove cap (23) from the valve body. Remove O-ring seal (19) from cap (23). If necessary, loosen locknut (21) and remove retainer assembly (25) from the cap.
Remove shim (24), spring (20) and valve (22) from the valve body.

Remove three plugs (26) and makeup valve (27) from the main control valve.

Remove two housings (28) and two housings (29). Remove the O-ring seals from the housings.

Remove tilt valve spool assembly (30) and lift valve spool assembly (31) .

Disassemble valve spool assemblies (30) and (31). Remove bolt (40), shim (39), retainer (38), shim (37), spring (36), spring (35), retainer (34) and shim (33) from spool (32) .
