Removal Procedure

Open door assembly (1) .

Loosen clamp (4) .

Loosen clamps (6) and (7) .
Remove bellows (5) .

Remove bolts (8) and remove exhaust elbow (9) .Installation Procedure
Install exhaust elbow (9) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 120 20 N m (89 15 lb ft).
Tighten clamps (7) and (6) to a torque of 11 1 N m (97 9 lb in).
Tap around clamps (7) and (6) in three places with a suitable mallet. Torque clamps (7) again to a torque of 11 1 N m (97 9 lb in).
Tap again around clamps (7) and (6) in three places with a suitable mallet. Torque clamps (7) again to a torque of 11 1 N m (97 9 lb in).
Verify that clamp (4) is centered between the connection of bellows (5) and the DPF filter.
Tighten clamp (4) to a torque of 35 2 N m (26 1 lb ft).
