Install the 351-8441 Sensor Harness As on the new 345-1697 Guard As (22) on the right side of the machine. Refer to Illustration 45.
Attach the 351-8441 Sensor Harness As with the bulkhead nut loose.
Clip the harness to the 345-1697 Guard As (22) by using a 6V-1228 Clip (23), 8T-4137 Bolt , and 8T-4121 Hard Washer .
Torque the bulkhead nut to 60 N m (44 lb ft).
Attach the 351-8441 Sensor Harness As to the weld link making sure that the connector will reach the clipping point.

Connect the 351-8441 Sensor Harness As to the AWD speed sensor on the right side of the machine. Refer to Illustration 46.

Secure the connectors in the clip. Refer to Illustration 47.

Attach the 345-1697 Guard As (22) in the same location as the old guard with two 238-0251 Screws . Then install the 345-1699 Plate (24) to the 345-1698 Guard As (22) with two 8C-8585 Screws and two 8T-4121 Hard Washers . Refer to Illustration 48.

Install the new 358-6680 Abrasion Sleeve on the right side and orient the hoses and wire harness as shown in Illustration 49. Reinstall the clamp and hardware that was removed in Step 7 of the ""Removal of the Front Axle AWD Harness and Hardware"".Note: Install the clamp and sleeve as close to the AWD motor as possible. The new sleeve should go through the clamp.
Route the hoses and harness in the sleeve back to the left side. Install the new 358-6680 Abrasion Sleeve in the same location as the old sleeve using the original hardware.

Reinstall the hoses and wire harness from the right side back into the block assembly on the left side that was removed in Step 14. Use Illustration 50 as a reference for hose and wire harness placement in the block. Reuse the hardware and block assembly from Step 14 of the ""Removal of the Front Axle AWD Harness and Hardware"". Attach a 7K-1181 Cable Strap around the sleeve just below the block.

Install the clips and hardware that were removed in Step 12 of the ""Removal of the Front Axle AWD Harness and Hardware"". Refer to Illustration 51.
Reinstall the hoses to the AWD manifold and reconnect the new AWD harness to the machine.
