Installation Procedure
Prevent the machine from movement. Park the machine on a level surface.

Attach a "Do Not Operate" warning tag or a similar warning tag to the start switch or to the controls before you service the equipment. These warning tags (Special Instruction, SEHS7332) are available from your Caterpillar dealer.

This control group activates hydraulic pressure to the auxiliary function circuit of the work tool.
Remove the floor mat from the cab.

Locate the small access panel on the floor of the cab. Remove the panel in order to install the pedal assembly.
Position the floor mat on the floor of the cab.
Mark the area of the access hole on the floor mat.Note: The size of the hole in the floor mat should be approximately the same size as support assembly (3) .
Remove the floor mat. Remove the material within the marked area of the mat.
Properly position the floor mat on the floor of the cab.

Mount support assembly (3) to the cab floor. Secure support assembly (3) with bolt (12) and washer (10) .
Insert valve group (5) through the support assembly (3) .Note: Port "T" of valve (7) should be facing toward the front of the machine.
Secure valve group (5) to the cab floor with bolts (11) and washers (10) .
Mount pedal assembly (2) to valve group (5). Use bolts (8) and washers (13) .Note: Tighten bolts (8) to 16.7 1.5 N m (12 1 lb ft)
Install rubber pedal (1) over pedal assembly (2) .

Spring Pin and Lanyard mounting detail
Install the spring pin (9) in pin (6). Refer to Illustration 5.
Fasten lanyard (4) onto the head of pin (6). Use screw (7). Refer to Illustration 5.
Fasten the opposite end of lanyard (4) onto support assembly (3). Use screw (7) .
Insert the pin (6) into the desired position in support assembly (3) .
