Problem
Some 2S7264 Fuel Injection Pump Assemblies may not have been correctly calibrated at the factory. These pump assemblies are used in 6.25" bore Industrial, Marine and Generator Set Engines.
Action Required
Remove all 2S7264 Fuel Injection Pump Assemblies with a date code of "1285" from parts stock. WARRANTY ALLOWANCES Submit one claim for all 2S7264 Pump Assemblies removed from parts stock.
Parts Disposition
U.S. and Canadian Dealers Return all 2S7264 Pump Assemblies that are removed from parts stock and a copy of the claim to: Caterpillar Inc. Attn: Supplier Recovery Supervisor Warehouse #4 Docks 5 thru 9 8201 N. University Peoria, IL 61615 COSA Dealers Contact: Freddy Speybrouck Claim Section Supervisor Grimbergen Parts Depot To obtain the parts return authorization for returning the 2S7264 Pump Assemblies that you removed from parts stock. These should be returned to the Grimbergen parts depot per the given instruction. All Other Dealers Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
