Problem
The former 2W7983 and 9Y7786 Cylinder Head Gaskets are subject to failure due to exhaust gas leakage. The new 7E3240 Cylinder Head Gasket should provide better sealing capability for both exhaust gas and fluids with its improved design.
Action Required
Remove all 2W7983 and 9Y7786 Cylinder Head Gaskets from parts stock and from gasket kits in parts stock. Replace the gaskets with 7E3240 Cylinder Head Gaskets.
