OFF - Move the speed hold control lever to the OFF position when normal operation of the speed/direction control is desired. When the speed hold control lever is in the OFF position, the centering springs on the speed/direction control lever will return the control to the NEUTRAL position, when the operator releases the control. Returning the speed/direction control lever to the NEUTRAL position will bring the machine to a stop.

ON - Move the speed hold control lever to the ON position when a selected travel speed is desired. When the speed hold control lever is in the ON position, the speed/direction control lever will not return to the NEUTRAL position when the operator releases the control. When the speed hold control lever is in the ON position, the speed/direction control lever will only return to the NEUTRAL position under the following conditions:
The operator manually returns the speed/direction control lever to the NEUTRAL position.
The operator places the transmission lock lever in the LOCKED position.
The operator places the speed hold control lever in the OFF position.
