start by:a) remove steering and cushion hitch pump or implement and elevator pump or elevator pump The disassembly and assembly of the steering and cushion hitch pump is shown here. The disassembly and assembly procedure for the implement and elevator pump or elevator pump is similar.PUMP ROTATION (When seen from drive end)STEERING AND CUSHION HITCH clockwiseIMPLEMENT AND ELEVATOR clockwiseELEVATOR PUMP counterclockwise 1. Put identification marks on covers (1) and (3) so they will be installed in the correct position.2. Remove bolts (2) and cover (1). 3. Remove seals (4) and cartridge (6).4. Remove bolts (5) and cover (3). 5. Put an arrow (7) on the pump body in the same direction as arrow (8) on the cam ring.6. Remove the cartridge from the pump body. 7. Remove outer spiral lockring (9). Remove shaft (10) and the bearing from the pump body. 8. Use tool (A) to remove snap ring (11) from the shaft.9. Use a press to remove bearing (12) from the shaft. 10. Remove the washer, seals (13) and O-ring seal (14) from the pump body.11. Put identification marks on the end plates and cam ring of the large cartridge. 12. Remove O-ring seal and back-up ring (17) from the end plate.13. Remove two screws (16) and end plate (15) from the cam ring. 14. Remove rotor (18) from the cam ring. Remove vanes (19) and vane inserts from the rotor.15. Remove cam ring (20) from the end plate.16. Do Steps 11 through 15 for the small cartridge.17. See DIAGNOSING HYDRAULIC PUMP FAILURES Form No. SEBD0501 for additional information.Assemble Hydraulic Pump

Install O-ring seal (1) on the pump body.2. Use tooling (A) to install the outside seal in the pump body with the lip in as shown.3. Install the inside seal in the pump body with the lip toward the inside of the pump as shown. 4. Use a press to install bearing (3) on the shaft.5. Use tool (B) to install snap ring (2) on the shaft. 6. Install washer (4) and shaft (5) in the pump body as shown.7. Install the spiral snap lock that holds the bea
