Components of 1168660 METER KT-SERVICE:
Inspect the Hourmeter:To check and see if the service meter requiresreplacement look for a part number on the face of the meter. If the meterhas a part number (1976210) then you need to replace the service meterusing the Rework Steps below.
Rework Steps:
Check to see if service meter needs to be replaced.If replacement of meter is required then record the date and hours on decal.(1142505)
Sub-assembly service meter and filter.(1613934 and 1417556)
Connect Brown wire to location 1Connect Black wire to location 2Connect Green wire to location 3
Remove 10A fuse from fusebox (Bottom row secondfrom right)
Remove screws securing service meter to panel.
Pull service meter and jumper wire until 3-pinconnector is visible.
Cut red, black, and green wires leaving four (4)inches of wire from connector in panel to cut.
Strip back wires 1/4" and crimp 1863736 socketto ends.
Insert wires into 3-pin plug 1552260, and addwedge.
Red wire into location "A"Black wire into location "B"Green wire into Location "C"
Connect filter receptacle into new plug and pushconnector and filter into opening.
Secure service meter with screws removed in step3.
Put 10A fuse removed in step 2 back in fuse box.
Check to see that meter is working.
If the old meter shows over 5.0 hours, then applydecal to side of panel with the current date and hours written into silverblocks.
