and D9L TractorsDescription of Change: A screen has been added to the fuel filter and lines groups for D8L and D9L Tractors. The new screen is installed in the fuel line between the fuel tank and the drain valve to keep any dirt and debris out of the valve. Formerly, the drain valve on some machines was damaged by dirt and debris, which prevented operation of the valve.Adaptable To: The new 9G8856 Screen is directly adaptable to all earlier D8L and D9L Tractors, and can be installed between the 5P6940 Valve (part of the fuel filter and lines group) and the fuel tank. For D8L Tractors, a 7244 Elbow is needed in addition to the new screen. The elbow must be installed between the screen and the valve.
