BUSHING 5350219 - Caterpillar

1. Loosen two clamps (4). Remove four bolts (1) and remove manifold (2). Remove heat shield (3). 2. Remove the bolts and retainer that fastens tube assembly (8) to the flange on the flywheel housing and remove the tube assembly.3. Remove bolt and bracket (7) from the turbocharger oil supply line.4. Remove four bolts and bracket (9).5. Remove four bolts and bracket (6).6. Remove two bolts, spacers and fire suppression nozzle and bracket (5) from the aftercooler.7. Remove the fuel injection lines brackets mounted to both sides of the aftercooler.8. Remove the bolts holding aftercooler cover (10) and remove aftercooler cover (10). 9. Remove four bolts and two elbows (12).10. Remove eight bolts (11) from the core assembly. 11. Remove four adapters (14) and (16) from the housing. Remove the O-ring seals from the adapters.12. Remove gasket (15) from core assembly (13).13. Fasten a hoist to core assembly (13) and remove the core assembly from the housing. 14. Disconnect hose assembly (20) from housing (18).16. Remove gasket (19) from housing (18). 17. Remove four O-ring seals (21) from core assembly (13). The following steps are for the installation of the aftercooler.18. Install the gasket between aftercooler housing (18) and engine.19. Put housing (18) in position on engine. Install fourteen bolts (17).20. Connect hose assembly (20) to the housing.21. Install four O-ring seals (21) on core assembly (13). Lubricate the seals with clean engine oil.22. Put gasket (15) in position on housing (18).23. Fasten a hoist to core assembly (13), put core assembly in position on housing (18).24. Install the O-ring seals on four adapters (14) and (16). Lubricate the O-ring seals with clean engine oil and install the adapters in housing (18).25. Install eight bolts (11) to hold core assembly (13) in position.26. Install two elbows (12).27. Put gasket (15) in position on core assembly (13).28. Install aftercooler cover (10) on the aftercooler housing.29. Install the fuel injection lines brackets on each side of the aftercooler.30. Install the fire suppression nozzle and bracket (15).31. Install brackets (6) and (9).32. Install the bolt and bracket (7) on the turbocharger oil supply line.33. Install the O-ring seal on tube assembly (8). Lubricate the seal with clean engine oil and install tube assembly (8) into the flange on the flywheel housing. Install the bolts and retainer to hold the tube assembly in position.34. Install heat shield (3), manifold (2) and bolts (1).35. Install clamps (4) on both sides of manifold (2).36. Apply 5P3931 Anti-Seize compound to the threads of clamps (4).37. Tighten the nuts on clamps (4) to a torque of 8.0 0.5 N m (70 4 lb.in.).End By: a. install turbocharger
