Information:
(Hyd #18) Connect CONN1F (6) to the Body Ground.
1. Connect CONN1F (6) of power unit controller to the body ground.2. Set the starting switch to "ON" to check whether the lamp goes out. (Hyd #19) Continuity Test Between CONN1F and CONN3F.
With CONN1F (6) connected to the body ground, remove CONN3F from the monitor panel. (Hyd #20) Connect the Wiring of Fuel Tank Unit to the Body Ground.
1. Set the starting switch to "OFF".2. Disconnect the fuel tank unit wiring (yellow/black) and connect it to the body ground.3. Check whether the pointer of the fuel gauge swings full scale when the starting switch is placed in the "ON" position. (Hyd #21) Connect the Wirings (yellow/black) and (black) Each Other.
With the starting switch at "ON", connect the fuel tank unit wirings (yellow/black and black) each other to check whether the pointer of the fuel gauge swings full scale. (Hyd #22) Continuity Test Between Wiring of Fuel Tank Unit and Body Ground.
Check for continuity between the wiring (black) of fuel tank unit and the body ground. (Hyd #23) Meter Board Voltage Check.
1. Connect harness connector to leading to monitor panel.2. Check to ensure that conducts in monitor and meter boards are not in contact with another conductor and then set the starting switch to "ON".3. Check the voltage at the fuel gauge securing bolt. Check each nut for looseness. Connect the clip of the tester to the body ground and put the point of the tester in contact with corresponding bolts (A)-(1). (Hyd #24) Fuel Gauge Check at Meter Board.
Connect the fuel gauge securing bolt (1) to the body ground to check whether the pointer of the gauge swings full scale. (Hyd #25) Disconnect the Wiring from the Fuel Tank Unit.
Check whether the pointer of the fuel gauge swings beyond the green zone when the starting switch is set to "ON" with the fuel tank unit wiring (yellow/black) disconnected. (Hyd #26) Continuity Test Between Monitor and Meter Boards.
Check for continuity between CONN3M (NO.) and fuel gauge securing bolt (A)-(1). At the time, check to ensure that the lock nut (A)-(1) is securely tightened. (Hyd #27) Monitor Panel Continuity Test.
(Hyd #28) Alternator Belt Tension Check.
Press the middle of the belt with the thumb. If the deflection is 12 mm, then the belt tension is good. (Hyd #29) Alternator Belt Adjustment Procedure.
Loosen the upper and lower alternator lock bolts (indicated by arrows), and move the alternator with a wrench handle until the belts are properly tensioned. After the adjustment, retighten the bolts firmly. Be careful not to let any oil come in contact with the belt. (Hyd #30) Measuring Voltage at CONN37 of Alternator.
Connect the clip of the tester to B-terminal and the point to W-terminal.Since the engine is running, carefully perform the measuring operations. (Hyd #31) Measuring Voltage at CONN18 (3) of Relay.
Connect the clip to the body ground and the point to CONN18F (3) of harness connector. (Hyd #32) Charge Lamp Check.
(Hyd #33) Connect Engine Oil Pressure Switch Wiring to Body
