1. Drain the oil from the hydrostatic power control unit. Capacity is approximately 84 liter (22 U.S. gal.). Loosen housing (1) to remove the oil cooler bypass valve. Do not remove the smaller plug in the housing. 2. Put clean oil on the O-ring seals on oil cooler bypass valve (2). Install the oil cooler bypass valve in the pump head. Tighten the valve until the valve is tight against the pump head. Fill the hydrostatic power control unit with oil.End By:a. install oil panDisassemble & Assemble Oil Cooler Bypass Valve
Start By:a. remove oil cooler bypass valve 1. Remove plug (3), spring (2) and valve (1) from the valve housing. Remove retainer (4) and the spacer from plug (3). 2. Be sure the O-ring seals are in position on housing (5) and plug (3). Install spacer (6) and retainer (4) in plug (3) as shown. Install valve (1), spring (2) and plug (3) in housing (5) as shown.End By:a. install oil cooler bypass valve
