Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Use Tooling (A) in order to position piston motor (14) to the machine. The weight of piston motor (14) is approximately 43 kg (95 lb).
Install bolts (13) but only hand tighten bolts (13).
Remove Tooling (A).

Install two bolts (12) (not shown) and tighten bolts (13).

Connect hose assembly (11) and connect hose assembly (10).

Connect harness assembly (8) and harness assembly (9). Connect harness assembly (6) and attach cable strap (7).

Attach cable strap (5).

Connect hose assembly (4), hose assembly (3), and hose assembly (2).

Install plates (1).
Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities - Refill" for the capacity of the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change".
