Locate the lubrication elbow at the rear of the tilt cylinder.
Disconnect the 8R-7699 Hose As from the elbow.

Remove the 8R-7699 Hose As from the machine.
Disassemble the tilt cylinder from the frame.ReferenceFor the removal and installation procedure of the tilt cylinder refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR8826.
Prepare the tilt cylinder for rework.

(H) 15 degrees from the center line
Locate and mark the area where the new hole is to be drilled.
Rework the cylinder for the new fitting.
Drill an 8.7 mm (0.3425 inch) hole through the tilt cylinder end 15 degrees from the center line.
Tap the hole drilled in Step 8 with a 3.175 mm (0.125 inch) 27 NPSF tap at 8 mm (0.315 inch)
Plug the original hole with 5M-6214 Pipe Plug .
Prepare the frame for rework.

(A) 97 mm (3.81889 inch) (B) 137 mm (5.39369 inch) (C) 73 mm (2.87401 inch) (D) 92 mm (3.62204 inch) (W1) 3 mm (0.118 inch) fillet weld on two sides (W2) 3 mm (0.118 inch) fillet weld all the way around
Find the location for the 2R-1920 Block by using measurements (A) and (B). Tack weld the 2R-1920 Block into place.
Finish weld the block in to place with a 3 mm (0.118 inch) fillet weld on two sides of the block.
Find the location for the 9R-2613 Boss by using measurements (C) and (D). Tack weld the 9R-2613 Boss into place.
Finish weld the boss into place with a 3 mm (0.118 inch) fillet weld all the way around the boss.

(E) 68 mm (2.70 inch) (F) 508 mm (20 inch) (G) 133 mm (5.25 inch) (W2) 3 mm (0.118 inch) fillet weld all the way around
Find the location for the two 9R-2613 Bosses by using measurements (E), (F) and (G). Tack weld the 9R-2613 Bosses into place.
Finish weld the boss into place with a 3 mm (0.118 inch) fillet weld all the way around the boss.

Install the 424-6512 Tube As, two 5K-9242 Flared Unions and 424-6511 Tube As along the frame.
Secure the assembled tubes with the following hardware:
8M-2772 Clips
8T-4121 Hard Washers
8T-4137 Bolts Note: There are quantities of 3 for each piece of hardware.

Install the 424-6513 Hose As and the 148-8389 Elbow As to the tilt cylinder.
Install the 148-8320 Connector As and the 148-8389 Elbow As to the frame.

Connect 424-6513 Hose As to the 148-8320 Connector As and 148-8389 Elbow As the assembled to the frame in Step 21.
