Removal Procedure
Note: Put identification marks on all wires for installation purposes.
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Loosen the bolt and remove exhaust pipe (2) and the clamp from the muffler.
Loosen the hose clamp and remove precleaner (3) from the air cleaner housing.
Remove the seven bolts. Use two people to remove hood (1) from the machine. The weight of the hood is approximately 44 kg (97 lb).

Remove the two bolts that secure backup alarm (6) to grill (5). Disconnect the harness assembly from the backup alarm. Remove the cable straps that secure the harness assembly to the grill. Position the harness assembly out of the way.
Attach a suitable lifting device to radiator guard (4). Refer to Illustration 2. Remove eight bolts (7) that secure the radiator guard to the frame, and remove the radiator guard and the grill as a unit. The weight of the radiator guard and grill as a unit is approximately 70 kg (154 lb).Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device to radiator guard (4). Refer to Illustration 4. Position the radiator guard and grill (5) as a unit. Install eight bolts (7). The weight of the radiator guard and grill as a unit is approximately 70 kg (154 lb).
Connect the harness assembly to the backup alarm. Position backup alarm (6) on grill (5). Install the two bolts. Position the harness assembly on the grill. Secure the harness assembly with cable straps.

Use two people to position hood (1) on the machine. Install the seven bolts. The weight of the hood is approximately 44 kg (97 lb).
Install precleaner (3) on the air cleaner assembly, and tighten the hose clamp.
Install exhaust pipe (2) and the clamp on the muffler and tighten the bolt.
