The Rear Vision Camera screen may be entered in two ways. "Rear Vision Camera" can be found as a menu item in the main menu. If the camera screen is accessed via the main menu, pressing the Back button (3) will return the display to the main menu.If the machine is placed in reverse, the "Rear Vision Camera" screen will show automatically. In this case, the "Rear Vision Camera" screen can only be exited when the machine is taken out of reverse.Brightness Modes
There are two Brightness Modes, causing the display brightness to change automatically when the headlights are On, Off, or when the user changes modes manually. Each mode may be looked upon as a profile that stores a specific brightness value. At Key-On, the display will detect the state of the headlight switch:
If the switch is in the Off position, the display will be placed in "Day Mode".
If the switch is in the On position, the display will be placed in "Night Mode".
If the headlights are turned from On to Off, the display will be placed in Day Mode.
If the headlights are turned from Off to On, the display will be placed in Night Mode.During a fault condition the display will default to Day Mode. A three second press-and-hold of the brightness button will cause the display to toggle brightness modes:
If the display is in "Day Mode" and the brightness button is pressed and held for 3 seconds, the display will be placed in night mode.
If the display is in "Night Mode" and the brightness button is pressed and held for 3 seconds, the display will be placed in day mode.Headlight state changes will override any manual brightness mode selection. The CMPD will also increase and decrease in brightness when "Backlight Adjust Switch Position" is incremented or decremented. If the display is at the highest setting, the display will hold at that value when the datalink command is increment. If the display is at the lowest setting, the display will hold at that value when the datalink command is decrement. The backlight setting will function normally if either the display or datalink command is to adjust brightness away from that extremity.Menu Color Reversal
To reduce the amount of glare produced by the display in low-light conditions, the colors of all menu-list controls will be reversed. The display will change between Day Mode and Night Mode.
