Start By:a. separation of tracks Tooling (A) was installed and recoil mechanism guard group (1) was removed prior to separation of the track. 1. Remove bolt (4) that fastens pin assembly (3) to support assembly (2). 2. Install a hoist and a strap on each end of the roller frame and lift as necessary to remove pin assembly (3). 3. Remove pivot bar support assembly mounting bolts (5). 4. Lower the roller frame from support assembly (6).
Be sure not to cause damage to dowel pin (7).
5. Remove the track roller frame assembly from the vehicle. The weight of the track roller frame is approximately 750 kg (1655 lb.).Install Track Roller Frames
1. Fasten two straps and a hoist to the track roller frame. Put the track roller frame in position on the machine. 2. Put 2P2506 Anti Seize Lubricant on each of the roller frame mounting bolts (5), and tighten to standard torque. The support dowel must be installed flush with the top of pivot pin support. 3. Make an alignment of the equalizer bar with support assembly (2) and install pin assembly (3).4. Install bolt (4) and remove hoist and straps. 5. Install recoil mechanism guard group (1).6.
