Remove the auxiliary water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Auxiliary Water Pump - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove coupling assembly (5), O-ring seals (2), and adapter (3) from auxiliary water pump (1). Remove the O-ring seals from dowels (4) .
Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the shaft of auxiliary water pump (1). The weight of auxiliary water pump (1) is approximately 75 kg (165 lb).
Place auxiliary water pump (1) onto a bench. Mark housings (6), (7), and (8) for correct orientation upon assembly.
Remove bolts (9) .

Separate housings (6) and (7) from housing (8) .
Remove O-ring seal (18) .
Remove bolt (16) and washer (17) .
Use Tooling (C) to remove impeller (10) .
Remove the spring from seal group (11) .
Separate housing (6) and housing (7) .
Remove O-ring seal (12) .
Remove bolts (21) and thrust washer (20) .
Remove shaft (19) .
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to remove seal group (11) from housing (7) .
Use a brass bar and a hammer to remove seal (13) from housing (6) .
Remove bearings (14) and bearings (15) from housing (6) .
