Thoroughly clean the sealant from the mating faces of the parking brake and of the output transfer gear case.
Apply 6V-6640 RTV Silicone Sealant to the mating surfaces of the parking brake and of output transfer gear case.

Attach Tooling (B) .
Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to Tooling (B) .
Use the hoist in order to lift the parking brake into position, as shown. The weight of the parking brake is 159 kg (350 lb).

Install Tooling (C), as shown.
Use suitable wood blocks in order to support the opposite end of Tooling (C) .
Remove Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) .

Install parking brake (2) onto the transfer gear case, as shown.
Install 15 bolts (8) before Tooling (C) is removed.
Remove Tooling (C) .
Install two remaining bolts (8) .
Tighten 17 bolts (8) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).

Remove three bolts (6) from plate (7), as shown.

Install three bolts (6) into plate (7), as shown.

Install bracket (5), the bolt, and the washer.

Connect three hose assemblies (4) .

Connect hose assembly (3) to the union at the bracket.

Connect hose assembly (1) to parking brake (2) .
Start the engine and check for leaks.Note: After the steering frame lock is separated, check for proper operation of the parking brake.
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
