3. Disconnect hose (C) from the control manifold.
Remove the adapter fitting that coupled the hose
to the control manifold. Discard the adapter.
Loosen the mounting bolts for the control manifold.
Install tee adapter (11) to the control manifold.
Orient the tee so that the branch of the tee faces
upward. Tighten the tee.
4. Install the relief valve assembly onto the tee (11).
5. Tighten the mounting bolts of the control manifold.
6. Reinstall the hose (C) onto the horizontal port of
the tee (11).
7. Remove the guard for the impeller?s motor.
Unhook the inboard supply tube. Unhook the
outboard supply tube (B) that goes to the auger
motor. Remove both adapters from the motor. Refer to illustration 2.

8. Install the remaining tee (4) onto the outboard
supply tube (B). Orient the tee outward. Tighten
the tee. Reinstall one of the adapter fittings into
the inboard port of the impeller?s motor.
9. Install the tubes onto the respective fittings.
Tighten the tubes.
10. Add the swivel elbow (12) to the branch of the tee.
11. Run hose (3) from the ?ORFS? port (12) to the
elbow (13) of the relief valve.
12. Adjust all fittings in order to remove binding.
Tighten the fittings.
13. Test the snowblower. Adjust the relief valve in
order to achieve optimum performance. The
normal relief setting is 14480 kPa (2100 psi).
Reducing the setting by turning the relief valve
counterclockwise will increase the torque of the
impeller. This will cause an increase in snow
discharge power. The torque of the auger will
be reduced. Conversely, if the relief setting is
increased by turning the relief valve clockwise, the
torque of the auger will increase. The torque for
the impeller will decrease.
