(1) Boss (5) Frame assembly (A) Area that should be free of weld (L1) 41.0 1.0 mm (1.61 0.04 inch) (L2) 63.5 1.0 mm (2.50 0.04 inch) (L3) 10.0 mm (0.39 inch) (W1) 5.0 mm (0.20 inch)Refer to Special Publications, SEPD0512, "Service Welding Guide" for the correct procedures for welding. Weld two bosses (1) in the locations that are indicated in Illustration 2. Weld (W1) is a 5.0 mm (0.20 inch) fillet weld. Put two welds of length (L3) at the base of each boss (1). The two welds are 180° from each other. Be careful not to weld in shaded areas (A). Any weld in the shaded areas can interfere with the pin. Install the remaining parts in the configuration that is shown in Illustration 1.
