Place the front of the boom on Tooling (A) .

Remove two hose clamps (2). Remove two rubber mountings (1) .

Disconnect hydraulic hose (3) .

Attach a nylon strap and a suitable lifting device to the center of the tilt cylinder.Note: The nylon strap will prevent the cylinder from dropping when the pins are removed.

Remove snap ring (6) with Tooling (B). Remove two washers (5) and the two shims. Remove pin (7) .

Remove bolt (9) and the washer. Remove pin (8) .

Remove tilt cylinder from the machine. The weight of the lift cylinder is 88.4 kg (195 lb).Installation Procedure

Use a nylon strap and a suitable lifting device to place the lift cylinder into position.

Install pin (8). Pin (8) secures the head end of the tilt cylinder to the frame. Secure pin (8) with bolt (9) and the washer.

Use the nylon straps in order to raise the rod end of the lift cylinder. Align the pin bores of the lift cylinder and the boom.

Install pin (7). Install two washers (6). Use Tooling (B) to install two snap rings (8).

Connect hydraulic hose (4) .

Connect hydraulic hose (3) .

Install two rubber mountings (1). Secure rubber mountings (1) and the hydraulic hoses with two hose clamps (2) .End By: Start the engine. Purge all air from the hydraulic system. Check the fluid level of the hydraulic tank.
