CABLE AS 1406705 - Caterpillar

Remove Flywheel (D330C, D333C, 3304 & 3306 Industrial Engines)
1. Remove plate on side of flywheel housing and remove the timing pointer.2. Make a mark on the flywheel and crankshaft at the same location. 3. Remove all but one of the flywheel bolts (1). 4. Install a 5/8"-18 NF guide pin (2) in the crankshaft and remove the last flywheel bolt.5. Install eyebolt. Fasten a hoist and remove the flywheel. Weight of the flywheel is 150 lb. (68 kg).Install Flywheel (D330C, D333C, 3304 & 3306 Industrial Engines)
1. Install a 5/8"-18 NF guide pin in the crankshaft. Fasten a hoist to the flywheel and put it in position on the crankshaft. Make sure mark on the flywheel is in alignment with the mark on the crankshaft.2. Install all but one of the flywheel bolts. Remove the hoist and guide pin and install the last bolt. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 150 20 lb.ft. (20.7 2.8 mkg).3. Install the timing pointer.Install Flywheel (D330C, D333C, 3304 & 3306 Marine Engines)
1. Install a 5/8"-18 NF guide pin in the crankshaft.2. Fasten a hoist and put the flywheel in position on the crankshaft with mark on flywheel in alignment with mark on the crankshaft.3. Install all but one of the flywheel bolts. Remove the eyebolts and guide pin. Install the last bolt.
