1. Remove the planetary carrier assembly retaining nuts.2. Install two 5/8"-11NC forged eyebolts in the carrier assembly. Tighten eyebolts until the carrier assembly clears O-ring seal.3. Attach a hoist and remove the planetary carrier assembly (1)-weight 280 lbs. (127 kg).Install Planetary Carrier Assemblies
1. Install a 5/8"-11NC forged eyebolt in the carrier assembly.2. Attach a hoist and position the carrier assembly on the wheel.3. Remove the eyebolt, and install and tighten the carrier assembly retaining nuts (1) to 70 10 lb. ft. (9,7 1 mkg).Disassemble Planetary Carrier Assemblies
preparatory step: a) remove planetary carrier assemblies 1. Lift the three pins (1) out of the carrier assembly.2. Remove the three gears (2), six steel spacers, and six brass washers from carrier assembly.3. Remove the two bearing assemblies and spacer from each gear.Assemble Planetary Carrier Assemblies
1. Place the bearing assemblies and spacer inside the gears. 2. Position the gears, steel spacers, and brass washers in the carrier assembly with the steel spacers (1) next to the gears, and the brass washers (2) next to carrier assembly.3.
