All enclosure sheet metal should be flush in order to prevent limbs, logs, and debris from snagging on the edges of the sheet metal.

Cross Section of Sheet AssemblyEnsure the proper fit between panel (C) and sheet assembly (D). The bottom edge of the sheet assembly should lie flat on the upper edge of the panel at seam (2) .Inspect gap (X) between sheet assembly (D) and support assembly (3). The gap should be 3.0 mm (0.12 inch) or less in order to ensure that the latch mechanism is properly engaged. Rotate support assembly (3) in order to adjust the gap.Inspect the edges and the gaps around the sheet assembly. All gaps should be even.Turn latch (4) with the standard key that is provided with the machine. The latch should turn into position with a maximum torque of 5.65 N m (4.18 lb ft). If the latch binds, this indicates misaligned panels or a misaligned support assembly.
