Information:

Machine Not Receiving Corrections From Base Station
The base station receiver appears to be configured correctly but the machines receive no corrections.Probable Causes
The base station radio is not configured as a base radio
There is a mismatch of the serial port settings between the base receiver and the base radio
There is a mismatch of the network number or frequency or wireless data rate between the base radio and the machines
There is a problem with the base station radio cable
There is no power to the base radio
There is a receiver or radio fault
There is a receiver configuration problem
The machines are not within radio coverageProblem Isolation
Verify the configuration of the base radio. Ensure that all the radios are set to the same network or frequency and wireless data rate. Make sure that the base radio is set to base radio.
Verify that there is power to the base radio. Check the base station radio cable for obvious defects. Verify that there is power at the radio end (8 pin connector) of the base station radio cable (pin A = power, pin B = ground). Verify that the radio antenna is securely attached to the radio and that the electrical connection is sound. Inspect the radio for damage.
Verify that the receiver is generating valid "Compact Measurement Record" (CMR) data. Disconnect the radio cable and connect directly to the receiver serial port (PN 45502-03 can be used for port A-1 or B-1, PN 37382 can be used for ports A-1, B-1 or B-2, but a null modem connector may be needed when connecting B-2 to a laptop or PC serial port). Use the WinTxRx software to observe the CMR data.
Configure a radio as a rover and ensure that you are located less that 100 m (328 ft) from the base radio. Connect to the rover radio and use the WinTxRx® software to verify that valid CMR data is being received and decoded. Take the same rover radio and move to where the machines are located. Reassess the reception quality.
In rare instances there may be a failure in the transmit circuitry of the base radio. Use the WinFlash utility to re-configure a machine (rover) radio as a base radio and re-configure the original base radio as a machine (rover) radio.Unable To Configure Base Station
Unable to locate any screens to allow configuration of base station data, or some base station configuration screens are missing.Note: The following symptom are limited to firmware version 1.44 or later running on the base station.Probable Causes
Front panel is locked, which limits access to the "Configuration" menus
Base station receiver is configured to use a rover display mode and all base station configuration information is intentionally removed from the front panel
Base station receiver is configured to be an RTCM DGPS base or an RTCM RTK base, or CMR RTK base display modeProblem Isolation
Enter the password in order to unlock the receiver and to allow full access to the "Configuration" menus. If you have forgotten or misplaced your password you can still access the receiver using
