Install guard (13) with nut (11), washer (12), bolt (14), and washer (15) .Installation of Right Rear Fuel Line

Remove bolt (1) and washer (2) to remove clip from fuel line.

Remove the right rear corner fuel line, 1P-1376 Port Connector , and associated mounting hardware.

Install connector (3) with O-ring (4) on the right rear of the cylinder head.

Install bracket assembly (7) with bolt (5) and hard washer (6).

Inspect hose and tube assembly (10) for damage. The hose should have uniform diameter. If the hose has a specific locations of larger or smaller diameter when compared to other locations on the hose, do use the hose and tube assembly. If necessary obtain a new part and proceed to the next step.
Install hose and tube assembly (10) as shown in Illustration 23.
Leave the connection finger tight.
Place saddle assembly (9) around house and tube assembly (10) as shown in Illustration 23.
Fasten saddle assembly (9) using bolt (8) and hard washer (2) and threading into the weld nut on the bracket.
Fully tighten bolt down to the saddle assembly.
Torque the swivel nut at the fuel manifold to 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft).
Torque the connection at the cylinder head to 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft) while using a back-up wrench to prevent the hose from twisting. Note: Ensure that the hose and tube assembly stays aligned when performing this procedure.
Remove the metal part number tag if on the hose and tube assembly.Note: Failure to remove the part number tag can result in hose failure.

Install guard (13) with nut (11), washer (12), nut (14), and washer (15). Note: Inspect guard for fouling against any other components. The fumes disposal line, fire suppression lines, and any other components should be above the guard. Do not attach anything to the guard other than the fumes disposal line.
If any hardware or parts were removed for installation of new fuel lines, reinstall the hardware and parts.Starting Procedure

Turn the fuel supply to the "ON" position.
Prime the fuel system and check all of the fuel line connections for leaks.
Crank the engine and run for 5 minutes. Shutdown engine and check again for any possible fuel leaks.
Start the machine and bring the engine to operating temperature. Check and repair any fuel leaks.
If no fuel leaks were found, reinstall the side panels.
