Engine Oil Pressure (12) - The alert indicator indicates low oil pressure. If this alert indicator flashes, stop the machine immediately and engage the parking brake. Stop the engine and investigate the cause of the fault.
Parking Brake (13) - The parking brake is engaged. The alert indicator should flash during start-up. The alert indicator should go out when the parking brake is released.
Brake Oil Pressure (14) - The alert indicator indicates low oil pressure to the brakes. If this alert indicator flashes, stop the machine immediately and engage the parking brake. Stop the engine and investigate the cause of the fault .
Electrical System (15) - This indicator indicates a malfunction in the electrical system. If this alert indicator flashes, the system voltage is too high or too low for machine operation. If the electrical loads (air conditioning and/or lighting) are high and the engine speed is low, then increase the engine speed. This will generate more output from the alternator. If the alert indicator for the electrical system turns off within one minute, the electrical system is operating normally. Overload can occur during periods of low engine speeds.Revise the operating cycle in order to avoid overloading the electrical system. Overloading the electrical system could result in discharging the batteries.Reducing loads will also help. Use the medium fan speed instead of the high fan speed. If this procedure does not cause the alert indicator to turn off, stop the machine and investigate the cause of the fault. The fault may be caused by an alternator belt that is loose or broken. Also, the batteries may be faulty. If the indicator remains on near normal operating speeds and with light electrical loads, stop the machine and investigate the cause of the fault. The fault may be caused by an alternator belt that is loose or broken. Also, the batteries or the alternator may be faulty.
Fuel Pressure (16) - This gauge indicates that the fuel pressure is low. Check the following areas for any disruption in fuel flow: fuel lines, fuel filter base and fuel tank. If the situation continues, consult your Caterpillar dealer.
Engine Air Filter (17) - This alert indicator illuminates when the engine air filter is clogged.
High Inlet Air Temperature (18) - The air inlet temperature is too high. If the indicator illuminates, change operating techniques or park the machine in order to allow the air cooler to cool down. If the situation continues, consult your Caterpillar dealer.
Transmission Oil Filter (19) - This indicator illuminates when the transmission oil filter is clogged.
Fuel Filter (20) - This indicator illuminates when the fuel filter is obstructed.
Engine Over Speed (21) - This indicator illuminates when the engine exceeds 2600 rpm. Do not operate the machine until the fault has been
