Use (6) 0S1619 bolts in the front 6 holes.Use (2) 0T0065 bolts in the rear 2 holes. Washers (5M2894) may need tobe installed under the coolant tube bracket on these two rear holes toallow the bracket to clear the draft on top of the 2177073 cast elbow.
Install the aluminum tubes 2177074 &2177075 w/ 6V3917 seals and red hoses 2177088 using the 216-2211 clampsto secure the hoses at each end.
Install ether lines back into castingsif appropriate.
Lubricate O-rings and hoses with 5P3975RU Glyde lubricant or P-80. Be sure to center hose clamps in markings onhoses, with T-bolts a minimum of 90° apart.
Tighten T-bolts to 10 Nm.

Install turbo water lines back onto engine,reversing 180°, so outlet is now on right hand side of the engine.9XR and 9TR machines will require a new hole to be drilled in the 1274470mounting bracket 2 inches below original hole. Refer to Illustration 4.

Install new 2305452 vent line from frontof aftercooler to water tank.
Install 2177071 and 2177072 cast supportsand 2177087 hump hoses on turbochargers? inlet side. Lubricate hoses with5P3975 RU Glyde lubricant or P-80 lubricant. Secure hump hose w/ clamps2338350. Use two clamps at each joint if the turbo is 2301060 or 10R1700.If a turbo is 2045476 or 10R0432, only one clamp may be installed on theturbo side of the hump hose (refer to illustration 5). Align clamps suchthat the T-bolts are a minimum of 90° apart when 2 clamps are used.Tighten T-bolts to 10 Nm.

Reinstall air cleaners onto 2177071 and2177072 supports. Replace the old gasket with integral seal 2300941.
Flash appropriate software file onto engineECM using service tool. Troubleshoot any active diagnostic codes as appropriate.Set configuration as required.
Refill coolant. Start machine. Allow engineto warm. Perform a torque converter stall to check operation.
Group 2:
Before going to site, build up air cleaneradapter assemblies using the 2177071 and 2177072 supports. The 9N2151 studsand 7M1674 filter elements will be required to complete the assembly.
Drain coolant from engine until levelis below top of engine block. Remove aftercooler lines from engine. SeeIllustration 6. The regulator outlet elbow (1569822), aftercooler outletelbow (1569820), tube (1657816) and saddle clips (1606194) should be removed.Set aside Aftercooler water sensor (1022240) for later installation. Removeall other applicable gaskets, seals and hardware.

Install 2177058 Elbow at rear of aftercooler.Install Aftercooler water sensor (1022240) into the 2177058 elbow usinga new 3K0360 seal lubricated with coolant.
Install 1078618 Inlet Manifold Temperaturesensor in rear of air intake manifold using 1640241 sleeve. Connect Sensorwiring breakout on harness to sensor.
Install 7N4930 elbow on upper regulatorhousing using (1) 7E6016 gasket and (4) 1A2029 bolts (3/8 X 1 1/8 in).Orient elbow so that the outlet points to left hand side of engine.
Remove air lines and air cleaners. Removecastings on top of aftercooler. Tape over aftercooler until ready to installnew cast elbows.
Remove turbo water lines.
Replace turbos and/or compressor housingif necessary. Acceptable turbos are: 2045476, 10R0432, 2301060 or 10R1700.
Tape over compressor inlet to protectfrom dirt entry.
Install air lines and hoses between turbochargeroutlet
