Description of Change: A new secondary fuel filter base assembly has been released. The new fuel filter base assembly improves reliability and performance of the 3176C and 3196 Engines in the above machines.Adaptable To: The new 238-6780 Fuel Filter Base Assembly is a direct replacement with the older 145-1780 Base Assembly. If the 145-1780 Base Assembly is replaced with the newer 238-6780 Fuel Filter Base Assembly, the fuel manifold does not need to be replaced. The new base is effective with the 3176C (S/N: 3PD6000-UP) and the 3196 (S/N: 5ED1741-UP) Engines. The 145-1780 Base Assembly has been cancelled and replaced by the 238-6780 Fuel Filter Base Assembly.
