Removal Procedure
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes.
Open the right side access door. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove two bolts and bracket (1).
Disconnect the negative cable assembly from battery (2).
Disconnect the positive cable assembly from battery (2).
Use two people to remove battery (2). The weight of battery (2) is approximately 53 kg (117 lb). Remove battery (2).Installation Procedure
Install battery (2) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the nuts for negative cable assembly and positive cable assembly to a torque of 7.2 1.6 N m (64 14 lb in).
