The Air Compressor Skid needs to be replaced on the products listed below. The existing Air Compressor can fail due to vibration. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 11Mar2015 when scheduling this service.

Rework Procedure
Make sure you have read and understood all of this document before beginning work.
Isolate the generator set before commencing any work on the unit, open generator set breaker, activate Emergency Stop, disconnect the battery cables and either disconnect or open the control circuit breaker for the AC power supply to the battery charger. Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times. Also, ensure proper Lock Out-Tag Out procedures are followed at all times while work is being performed on or around the machine. Lock out generator operation and disconnect/lockout all power sources before commencing any work. Either disconnect or open the control circuit breaker for the AC power supply to the Air Compressor Group. Ensure that all compressed air is bled off prior to removing the Air Compressor Group.
1 - Disconnect the air lines & electrical supply going to the 365-1772 air compressor. Move these out of the way enough for air compressor removal.

2 - Remove the 365-1772 Air Compressor using a fork truck or suitable lifting device.

3 - Move the new 4572921/">457-2921 Air Compressor into place making sure to leave room for the access door on each side. The control panel side should have the easiest access and should be visible when walking past the unit.
The new 4572921/">457-2921 Air Compressor dimensions are as follows:
70 Inches High
68 Inches Long
40 Inches Deep
Secure the new compressor to the floor. The support feet come with slotted holes which can be used to secure the entire package to the floor.

4 - Reroute and reconnect the air lines and electrical supply going to the new 4572921/">457-2921 Air Compressor.
Ensure that the 3 phase power connections allow the compressor motor to turn the proper direction. The
