Removal Procedure
Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Remove bolts (2) in order to lower cab headliner (1) .

Disconnect harness assembly (3) for dome light (4) and harness assembly (6) for speakers (5). Remove cab headliner (1) .

Disconnect hose (12). Open cap (11) for wiper arm (7) at connector (8). Open cap (9) and remove nut (10) in order to remove wiper arm (7) .

Disconnect harness assembly (13) for wiper motor (14). With the aid of a second person, support wiper motor (14) from the inside of the cab. At the same time remove nut (16), sealing washer (15), cap (17), nut (18), and sealing washer (19). Remove wiper motor (14) .Installation procedure

With the aid of a second person, position wiper motor (14) and install sealing washer (15), nut (16), sealing washer (19), nut (18), and cap (17). Tighten nut (18) to a torque of 8 1 N m (71 9 lb in). Connect harness assembly (13) .

Position cab headliner (1). Connect harness assembly (6) for speakers (5) and harness assembly (3) for dome light (4) .

Reposition cab headliner (1) and install bolts (2).
Use the following procedure to install the wiper arm:
If a new wiper motor has been installed disregard Step 4.b.
Turn the switch for the front window wiper to the ON position and then turn the switch for the front window wiper to the OFF position. This will make sure that the wiper motor is in the PARK position. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Window Wiper and Washer Control".

Install cap (11) onto connector (8) for wiper arm (7). Position wiper arm (7) so that the wiper blades are in full contact with the front left side of the windshield. The wiper blades must be parallel with the edge of the windshield at a distance of 127 3 mm (5.0 0.1 inch). Note the black arrows on Illustration 10. Install nut (10) and tighten nut (10) to a torque of 23 1 N m (17 1 lb ft).
Wait for thirty minutes to four hours. Do not wait for more than four hours. Tighten nut (10) again to a torque of 23 1 N m (17 1 lb ft). Close cover (9) .
Connect hose (12) .
