Test Preparation
Start and run the engine. Operate the elevator controls until hydraulic oil is at normal operating temperature.
Stop the engine.

Install Tooling (A) or Tooling (B) to test ports (1) and (2).Test Procedure
Start and run the engine. Increase engine speed to high idle.
Record readings from Tooling (A) or Tooling (B).
Make sure that the elevator control is in the neutral position.
Slowly begin to move the elevator drive control in one direction. The elevator drive should start to move by the time Tooling (A) or (B) reads 500 kPa (73 psi).
Stop the engine.
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 with the elevator drive in the opposite direction.Maximum Pressure Override

Secure the elevator on the left and the right side with chains that are heavy enough to keep the elevator from moving.

Install Tooling (A) or tooling (B) to ports (1), (2).Test Procedure
Take up the slack in the chain that restrains the elevator from moving while the engine is at low idle. Slowly place the elevator control in the FORWARD position.
When the chain that restrains the elevator is tight, bring the engine to high-idle and keep the elevator control in the FORWARD position.
Record readings from Tooling (A) or Tooling (B). The maximum pressure for the pump is 43500 1000 kPa (6309.24 145.04 psi).
Return the elevator control back to the NEUTRAL position.
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for Reverse.
Shut down the machine.
