The 198-4240 Digital Pressure Indicator was used in the following test.

Apply the parking brake.
Install frame lock pin (1) in the hole that is provided in the articulation yoke.Note: The offset steering will articulate with the lock pin in place.

(2) Port X
Connect Tool (A2) to port X of the offset valve. This pressure gauge measures the relief valve pressure setting.
Start the machine and run the engine at 2310 45 RPM. Check the hydraulic temperature with Tool (C) until the hydraulic oil temperature reaches 38°C (100°F).
Activate the offset switch that is on the propel lever until the relief valve opens. Record the pressure reading. The pressure of the relief valve should be 15000 1480 kPa (2175 215 psi).
If the pressure is correct, remove the gauges and shut off the engine.Adjusting Procedure

Shut off the engine.
Remove plug (3) that contains the relief valve.
Shim the relief valve in order to achieve the desired pressure.
Install the plug.
Refer to the testing procedure above in order to recheck the pressure.
