Single Point Lifting Eye Maintenance
The generator set package includes a single point lifting eye. This single point lifting eye can be used to lift the generator set package.Before the single point lifting eye is used, be sure that the lifting eye is correctly oriented and be sure that the nuts that fasten the lifting eye to the generator set package are correctly tightened.The single point lifting eye must be positioned so that an imaginary line through the lifting eye is perpendicular to the sides of the generator set package.The nuts that fasten the single point lifting eye to the generator set package must be tightened to a torque of 2700 300 N m (2000 200 lb ft).
