Illustration 2. Former thrust washers and former plate.The new iron ring and thicker plate eliminate the need for thrust washers and reduce the chances of assembly errors. To remove a new plate, install a forcing screw in place of the plug. To install a new plate, remove the plug to allow air to escape from behind the plate.
Adaptable As: The new parts, when used together, are direct replacements for the former parts. The new 3T9053 Cover is generally not used because the bulldozer trunnion is bolted on at this location.
