CABLE AS 5T1528 - Caterpillar

TRACTOR ENGINE SHOWN1. Remove oil outlet line (1) for the turbocharger.2. Remove the nuts and washers that hold heat shield (2) in position. Remove the heat shield.3. Disconnect cable (4) from the air fuel ratio control.4. Remove the two bolts that hold bracket (3) to the cylinder head. Move the bracket and cable away from the exhaust manifold.
TRACTOR ENGINE SHOWN5. Remove the nuts and washers that hold the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head. Remove exhaust manifold (5) and the gaskets.Install Exhaust Manifold
1. Check the condition of the exhaust manifold gaskets. If the gaskets have damage, use new parts for replacement.2. Put the gaskets on the studs in the cylinder head.
TRACTOR ENGINE SHOWN3. Put exhaust manifold (1) in position on the studs.
TRACTOR ENGINE SHOWN4. Put heat shield (3) in position on the studs in the cylinder head. Put 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound on the stud threads. Install the washers and nuts that hold the exhaust manifold in position. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 35 3 lb.ft. (47.5 4.1 N m).5. Install bracket (2) on the cylinder head.6. Install oil outlet tube (4) for the turbocharger.7. Connect cable (5) to the lever on the air fuel ratio control.end by: a) install turbochargerb) install fuel injection linesc) install hoods (tractor and scraper engines)
