Refer to Table 1 and Table 2 for the replacement of tie straps and mounting devices part numbers.Refer to Table 3 for 2-piece clips and grommets part numbers.
For wiring harnesses smaller than 20.0 mm (0.79 inch), replace p-clips with saddle clips and tie wraps.
For wiring harnesses larger than 20.0 mm (0.79 inch), replace p-clips with 2-piece clips and grommets.
For power cables, replace p-clips and grommets with 2-piece clips and grommets.
For signal cables (coax cables), replace p-clips with saddle clips and tie wraps.These tie straps, 2-piece clips, grommets, and mounting devices are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.Refer to Special Instruction, M0085923, "Guide for Recommended Electrical Harness Retention for Large Off-Highway Trucks" for additional information on securing electrical harnesses. Also refer to Service Magazine, M0085927 listed above for additional information.Note: The 797F Off-Highway Truck was used as the example. The recommended procedure is applicable to all large off-highway trucks.
