Remove bolts (2) and cover (3) from tilt and tip cylinder (1). Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt and tip cylinder (1). The weight of the tilt and tip cylinder is approximately 93 kg (205 lb).

Remove hose assemblies (4).

Remove nuts (7), bolts (8), caps (5), and shims (6).

Remove bolts (9) and retainer (10). Remove pin (11).
Remove tilt and tip cylinder (1) from the machine. Disassembly and Assembly Procedure

Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.
Installation Procedure

Install a suitable lifting device to tilt and tip cylinder (1) and position tilt and tip cylinder (1) on the machine. The weight of the tilt and tip cylinder is 93 kg (205 lb).
Install pin (11), retainer (10), and bolts (9). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 700 90 N m (516 66 lb ft).

Install caps (5), shims (6), nuts (7), and bolts (8). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 700 90 N m (516 66 lb ft).

Install hose assemblies (4).

Install cover (3) and bolts (2) to tilt and tip cylinder (1).
