Install bearing (47) and two terminal bushings (46) in end cap (31) .
Install O-ring seal (33) on plug (42). Install plug (42) in manifold (34). Install tube (37), O-ring seal (36), nut (35), and manifold (34) in end cap (31). Tighten nut (35) .
Install O-ring seal (39) on plug (38). Install poppet (41), spring (40), plug (38), and nut (32) in end cap (31). Align the location marks on nut (32) and plug (38). Tighten nut (32) to a torque of 46 to 55 N m (34 to 41 lb ft).
Install O-ring seals (44) and (45) on the multifunction valves (43). Install two multifunction valves (43) in end cap (31). Tighten multifunction valves to a torque of 90 N m (65 lb ft).

Position the gasket and end cap (31) on the pump housing and install bolts (30) .

Install bearing (25) on shaft (24) with a press. Use Tooling (D) in order to install retaining ring (27) on shaft (24) .
Install O-ring (28) and lip seal (29) in seal retainer (26). Install seal retainer (26) on shaft (24) .
Position shaft (24) and plate (22) in the pump housing and install bolts (23) .

Install key (20) in charge shaft (16) .
Install pin (21) in charge pump (18) .
Install charge shaft (16), coupling (17), charge pump (18), and cover (19) in the pump housing.
Install retainer (15) and bolts (14). Tighten the bolts (14) to a torque of 14 N m (10 lb ft).

Position the O-ring seal and adapter plate (13) on the end cap. Install bolts (12). Tighten the bolts (12) to a torque of 122 N m (90 lb ft).

Install orifice check valve (11) in hole (10) of manual displacement control (6) .

Position the gasket and interlock valve (7) on manual displacement control (6). Install bolts (8). Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 16 N m (12 lb ft).
Install neutral start switch (9) in manual displacement control (6) .

Position the gasket and manual displacement control (6) on the pump housing. Install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 16 N m (12 lb ft).

Install hub (4) on the shaft. Distance (X) must be 56.5 1.5 mm (2.22 0.06 inch). Tighten bolt (3) to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).

Install propel link (2) on the propel pump and install the two bolts.
Install hose assembly (1) on the propel pump.Note: After the propel pump is installed, perform the following adjustments: "Charge Relief Valve Pressure Test", "Main Relief Valve Test", "Servo Pressure Check", "Neutral Start Switch Adjustment" and "Neutral Start Switch Check and Eccentric Plug Adjustment". Refer to Systems Operation, "Systems Tests and Adjustments".End By: Install the propel pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Axle Propel and Drum Propel) - Install".
