To prevent personal injury, release the pressure from the hydraulic system before any lines are removed or disconnected.
Put identification on all lines, hoses and tubes for installation purposes.1. Remove front fender on the side of the machine that is to be worked on. 2. Disconnect all the necessary lines (1) from the steering cylinder.3. Put a lift truck in position beneath the steering cylinder.4. Remove the cylinder mounting pins (3) and then remove steering cylinder (2) with the lift truck.5. Weight of the steering cylinder is 64 Kg (140 lbs). The above steps can be used for the opposite steering cylinder. The following steps are for the installation of the steering cylinder.6. Put the steering cylinder (2) in position with the lift truck.7. Install the cylinder mounting pins (3).8. Connect all the necessary hydraulic lines (1) to the steering cylinder.
