B 209-8351 Bracket 2 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Attach Tooling (A) to transmission (14). Install transmission (14). Position transmission (14) in the flywheel housing. The weight of transmission (14) is approximately 1043 kg (2300 lb). Install transmission (14) completely in the flywheel housing.
Install bolts (15). Install mount assembly (16) on both sides of the machine. Remove Tooling (B).

Connect hose (10). Connect hose assembly (11). Connect hose (13). tighten clamp (12).

Connect hose assemblies (8) and (9). Install bolts (6) and (7).

Install guard (3).

Install bolt (2). Connect harness assemblies (1). End By:
Install the air tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Tank - Remove".
Install the drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".
Install the fuel tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Tank - Remove".
Install the radiator guard and support. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator Guard and Support, Aftercooler, and Radiator - Install".
