Install the wheel chocks.

Use Tooling (A) to raise the front of the machine until most of the weight is removed from tire and rim assembly (1). Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1328, "Lift Group (Stand - 60 Ton)" for more information on Tooling (A).
Remove 10 of the 12 full nuts from the tire and rim assembly (1).Note: The remaining two full nuts and the hard washers should be left on the tire and rim assembly (180 degrees opposite of each other).
Use Tooling (A) to raise the machine until tire and rim assembly (1) is off the ground.
Position the suitable lift truck so that the forks are under tire and rim assembly (1). Position a suitable lifting sling around tire and rim assembly (1) and secure the suitable lifting sling to the suitable lift truck.

A tire handler can also be used to remove the tire and rim assembly.
Remove the remaining two full nuts and the hard washers from tire and rim assembly (1). Remove tire and rim assembly (1). The weight of tire and rim assembly (1) is approximately 839 kg (1850 lb).Installation Procedure
Install tire and rim (1) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the face of the hard washers and the threads of the full nuts.
Tighten the full nuts to a torque of 1700 200 N m (1254 148 lb ft).
