CAMSHAFT GP 2985892 - Caterpillar

1. Loosen eye bolts (1), and remove cover (2). 2. Remove primary filter element (3). 3. Remove eight nuts (4) and secondary filter element (5). 4. Remove two bolts (6) and the washers. 5. Loosen clamp (8), and disconnect hose (9).6. Remove the nut, the washer and bolt (10), and remove precleaner (7).7. Remove two bolts (14) and the washers.8. Remove the two nuts, bolts (11), the washers and straps (12).9. Remove air cleaner body (13). The following steps are for the installation of the precleaner and air cleaner. 10. Position air cleaner body (13).11. Put straps (12) in position, and install bolts (11), the nuts and the washers.12. Install the two bolts and washers (14).13. Install precleaner (7), the nut, the washer and bolt (10).14. Connect hose (9), and tighten clamp (8). 15. Install two bolts (6) and the washers. 16. Install secondary filter element (5) and eight nuts (4). 17. Install primary filter element (3). 18. Install cover (2), and tighten eye bolts (1).
