Before Failure:
Replace the 3584353/">358-4353 Bracket (Guard) (Chg. 00) with the improved 3584353/">358-4353 Bracket (Chg. 01). Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary and see the attached Rework Procedure.
After Failure:
Replace the 3584353/">358-4353 Bracket (Guard) (Chg. 00) with the improved 3584353/">358-4353 Bracket (Chg. 01). Inspect the kickout switch arm and switch assembly. Replace the kickout switch assembly and/or kickout switch arm if damaged. Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary and see the attached Rework Procedure.

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
***************Before Failure********************
1) Remove the 3584353/">358-4353 Bracket (Guard) (Chg. 00) shown in Image 1.1.1. The existing bolts and washers will be reused.
2) Install the 3584353/">358-4353 Bracket (Guard) (Chg. 01). Refer to Image 1.1.2.
3) Verify proper operation and adjustment of the boom kickout switch.

1) Remove the 3584353/">358-4353 Bracket (Guard) (Chg. 00) shown in Image 1.1.1. The existing bolts and washers will be reused.
2) Inspect the kickout switch assembly and switch lever for damage. Replace parts as required. Refer to Image 1.2.1.
3) Install the 3584353/">358-4353 Bracket (Guard) (Chg. 01). Refer to Image 1.1.2.
4) Verify proper operation and adjustment of the boom kickout switch.
